Australian Country Music Hall of Fame

Located in the historic former Mechanics Institute building of 1866, memorabillia from early pioneers of country music through to our current stars is on display. The regularly changing exhibits include clothing, instruments, posters and other items from artists Buddy Williams, Tex Morton, Smoky Dawson, Slim Dusty and many others. 

Sit in the theaterette and watch a DVD from the Hall of Fame's broad collection including the historical material of Slim Dusty, Buddy Williams, Smoky Dawson, Jimmy Little, Stan Coster and others.

Bega Pioneers' Museum

The Pioneers' Museum is situated in an old hotel built in 1858-59 with several exhibition rooms and outdoor display areas containing every aspect of early Bega and district life–farming, industry, military, machinery, transport and domestic history, as well as a comprehensive range of family histories.

Highlights of the museum include the collection of over 200 photographs of pioneers, the horse-drawn ambulance built in Cobargo and a large militaria collection from the Boer War, World War I and World War II.

Australian Fossil & Mineral Museum

Situated in the heart of Bathurst, the Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum is the home of the internationally renowned Somerville Collection. Housed in the 1876 Public School building the Museum features some of the finest and rarest examples of minerals and scientifically significant fossils from Australia and around the world.

The Campbelltown Steam & Machinery Museum

The Museum houses a unique collection of vintage steam and internal combustion agricultural and industrial engines. A two-foot gaug industrial railway is also operasted on the grounds. 

We aim to educate and entertain the public and promote the restoration and preservation of our unique past.

Majority of our exhibits are working at our field days so they can be expearienced with sights, sounds and smells of a bygone era.
